Overview
Virtual Direction ("we," "us") is a ministry service business based in Pennsylvania that serves churches and nonprofits. This policy explains, in plain English, what information we collect through this website and how we use it.
Information we collect
Forms you submit. When you use our contact, Get Started, Request a Speaker, Join the Speaker Network, or List Your Church forms, we collect what you enter, such as your name, church or organization, email, phone number, location, and message.
Directory and speaker listings. Information you submit for a church directory listing or speaker profile (for example church name, address, service times, pastor, website, and contact details) may be shown publicly on this website once approved.
Automatic information. Like most websites, our hosting provider may collect basic technical data such as your browser type, device, pages visited, and approximate location.
Help me find a church requests. When you ask us to connect you with a church, we collect your name, contact details, area, contact preferences and any notes you choose to share. With your consent, we share only what a local church needs to welcome you, typically your name, contact details and preference, area, and the notes you included.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your questions, prepare quotes, provide and bill for services, publish directory and speaker listings you ask us to publish, connect churches with speakers, and improve the website. We may contact you about your request or your account.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only as described in this policy or when required by law.
Third-party services
We rely on trusted providers to run the site and our services, including Wix (website hosting and forms), a payment processor such as Stripe (payments; we do not store full card numbers), and email, messaging, and analytics tools. These providers handle your information under their own privacy policies.
Cookies
This website and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some features may not work without them.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices
You may ask us to update or remove your information or a directory or speaker listing at any time by contacting us. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law, and we use reasonable measures to protect it, though no method online is 100% secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
